Mission 4A - Mudra She Wrote

Kitaro approaches the guard and holds up his badge with a bored look on his face.

Sam fumbles for his badge, and brandishes it for the guard to see.

Emiko demurely shows her badge while offering a shy smile.

The guard glances at the badges and says, "New janitors eh? Weird that so many of the old ones wouldn't show up all at once. Wonder what happened."

Giving a shrug he says, "Alright, any weapons, commlinks, cameras or anything that can take a picture needs to go in the bin. I'll give you a number chit. You give me that chit at the end of your shift and you get your stuff back. Once you've done that, head on through the metal detector and I guess someone will have to tell you what to do after that."

He grumbles to himself, "Last thing I need to deal with is new janitors..."

Kitaro places his commlink in the bin and says to the guard.

"No worries chummer, we have received our orders already. We know what to do"

To the guard, Emiko feigns ignorance with "oh wow, what is this place?" Then, flirtatiously to the guard she says, "they even have tough security at the front. What is your name?"

If Sam was not previously running silent, he switches to running silent now.

He loads the stealth program and configures his deck to S9 F8 D7 A2 (after bonuses).

And he hacks the host with the help of his trusty search engines:

Sam throws an Xbox 360 logo mark onto the host, and enters.

He turns his attention to the metal detector and tries to put on mark on it as well.

Sam tosses a mark onto the metal detector, and turns the sensitivity all the way down, so that it will not be likely to detect even the guns Torpor's got hidden on his person, or the spikes ready to shoot out of Sun's armor at any moment.

((Let me know if Sam doesn't think that turning the sensitivity down will work))

Assuming all that worked out, when it's Sam's turn to go through the metal detector, he disconnects his data jack and takes out his commlink, handing it over before going through the metal detector.

Unaware of all the shenanigans happening behind his back, Kitaro walks through the metal detector.

With everyone basically unaware of what Sam is doing, Torpor tenses up as he approaches the metal detector, sure that he's probably going to have to shoot his way through this. However, once he steps through, nothing happens and he relaxes noticeably. One by one you each take your turns going through the metal detector. With no alarms from the machine alerting him and you each putting a commlink in the bins, the guard seems satisfied and doesn't bother to search any of you more thoroughly. He hands you each a numbered chit and says, "Alright, the locker rooms are down the hall on the right. Go change and get to work."

Kitaro looks where the guard puts the commlinks, should he need to retrieve them without the guard later.

"You got it chummer"

Then he heads towards the locker room.

Emiko goes to the women's locker room and changes into the janitor uniform, carefully putting her deck and commlink inside. She goes to meet the guys, realizes she hasn't peed in forever, goes to the bathroom, then meets the guys.

Once everyone has made it safely through the metal detector, Sam restores it to its regular settings. Then reboots his deck, and heads to the locker rooms with the others.

A few minutes later, you all emerge from the locker rooms, changed into your uniforms. So far, so good.

Kitaro looks around if there is noone watching him and sets down his mop and bucket.
If the coast is clear, he will look into the astral space to see if there is anything happening there.
He will also use his natural magic sense to check for anything magical in a 60 feet sphere around him.

Nothing in particular appears on the astral plane. The hall by the locker rooms seems pretty quiet. Kitaro does sense astral barriers in the floors above him though.

Following the map that he constructed, Sam leads the others to the supply closet and digs out a cleaning cart and a garbage can.

Cleaning supplies in hand, the group makes their way to the best route Sam can figure out for getting them up to the roof garden.

Kitaro follows Sam, humming along with the elevator muzak as they ascend.

Sun taps his foot along with the humming and elevator muzak.

As the elevator comes to a halt with the trademark "ding" sound. Kitaro steps onto the roof. He looks around to see if there is anyone else there. He also checks if there is anything going on in the astral plane.

Emiko also checks the astral plane.
