Newbie Mission

"Alright Bonehead." Kuroi smiles.
"I'll see what we can do about the sunshine and the rain"
"Misaki you would not happen to have a baseball cap lying around or something like that?"

Pretzel ruminates by making a few grumbling sounds.

"Misaki has a baseball cap that she's wearing. Will that work, Bonehead?"

"Okidoke," Pretzel beeps in Misaki's voice. The drone treads off, leaving a tank tracks in the mud.

A few minutes later, the drone returns with a pink baseball cap with fuzzy cat ears protruding from the sides.

"Cute, isn't it? I bet it looks good on you, bonehead."

Misaki via Pretzel hums with confusion.

"Mmmm... I don't understand. What is Old Baba and what is this place? How do we avoid Baba from getting angry and killing us if we go in?"

Kuroi smiles as the hat is placed upon the the skeletal head, looks funny for something that most find scary to wear a cap with furry ears.
"maybe old Baba and the dwarf is the same."
"maybe we should should stow our weapons, but we should still be prepared for the worst."
Kuroi returns his pistol to its holster and walks towards the entrance.
"Hey lets play this friendly, it could be the way forward"

"Ok, I can't really replace the pop off panels right now, but I won't point the gun anywhere."

The Doberman lowered the muzzle of the gun and pointed it towards the ground.

"I'll follow you."

"well maybe it will be enough for Baba to consider talking instead slicing us with lasers" At least I really hope so.
Kuroi flips his ballistic mask up as to show his face, and as a sign of wanting to converse and not fight it out.
"Misaki maybe we should call out, you know to warn them that we have entered? Or should we try to be more stealthy?"

"so can't we just knock on the door? Or at least you could tell us how to get an invitation."
Kuroi does not like this situation, witches, magic wandering houses with chicken legs, this is stuff out of nightmares.
"You have got yourself put up here, you are not some magic creation, you used to be human?"
Maybe, just maybe we can get some help from this skull.
"any tricks to avoid being seen by Baba Yaga maybe?"
"Misaki what do you think about this, 200k is a lot, but Bonehead here makes it sound like pure suicide"
Kuroi awaits some answers from them both while looks around himself and tries to get the worst of the mud off of him, Baba probably wouldn't like mud all over the place, no reason to piss her off before necessary.

"Alright Bonehead, any intention of revenge on the witch?"
"If not we are going in find our thing and get the frag out of here"

"I... I don't know. I am curious, but didja see what happened to that truck back there? That was lame! I would hate for that to happen to you and Pretzel, so you shouldn't let me decide for you."

"I think it's time to be as stealthy as possible, how silent can pretzel be?"
Kuroi takes a stance where he in a rather quick fashion places on foot in front, then transfers the weight from the back foot to the front. And then repeats the process. (sneaking).
Kuroi goes to the door in the house and tries the handle.
Kuroi adjust his subvocal mic, and makes sure his headphones is perfectly in.

Kuroi enters the hut.

Pretzel follows after Kuroi.

"Spooky."

Misaki screams and clutching her head as searing hot stress courses through her upper spinal column. Blood drips from her nose, and quickly grabs a tissue and wipes it, nearly knocking over some gadgets on the dashboard in her dizzied state.

She spends a few moments trying to compose herself and get to her feet as the world spins around her.

"Shit..."

Misaki wearily jacked back into the RCC and asked the recon hoverdrone, Marshmallow, to return to the van and stow itself. She asked the Mochi the van to stay put, and asked Bunny the armed hoverdrone to protect it from any aggressors or thieves, only if they showed clear signs of attack or theft.

Afterwards, Misaki gingerly got out of the van and walked to where Bonehead was.

"Hi, Bonehead. Uh... Pretzel the drone is mine. I can go inside and get him, right?"

Kuroi looks around the room, moves towards the ladder, it seems to be the only way forward, or upwards. -He grins to himself.
"Hey Pretzel can you get up the ladder?"
Hmm no answer, Kuroi turns around and see pretzel at the opening, not moving.
"Misaki you there?"
Kuroi waits for an response.
Maybe this hut interferes with the signal, maybe too much noise.
Kuroi tries calling Misaki, and thinks naah drek, it would mess with that signal also

"Ngghh," Misaki winces as she holds her hand to her temple, trying to stay composed as the world teetered left and right in her field of vision.

She zipped up her armor jacket, hoping to keep out as much of the rain as possible. Her hair was getting soaked now that Bonecrusher had received her hat.

Misaki crossed the field and entered the doorway to where Pretzel was, and found Kuroi there as well.

"Sorry, there seems to be some kind of signal barrier here. I got cut off."

Misaki peered around, examining the room for anything peculiar. If nothing was strange, she would reconnect her RCC with Pretzel, and let Pretzel run on auto while slaved to the RCC.
