"I don't mean *Actual* ghouls, though a pack of ferals did show up after the second gang ambush last time we went. I mean I use Tried Phantasm to stage her death and the flean up, all filled by drones starting with us approaching her fake doss"

"I'm sure that will make her more comfortable. Though, we do seem to have access to an argument lot of ghouls these days."

Torpor looks around, "Wow, it is getting late. Where did the time go?"

Roku is much more comfortable with the idea of non-real ghouls eating her than being around actual ghouls.

"Well, it seems she came through for the others. Assuming the cure you can make is possible on this plane you may find yourself in pretty high demand. No one has ever found a cure for HMHVV of any strain, either through magic or science. I'm here to back you up if it can be done."

"Taishoko, it seems we have the beginnings of a peaceful rapport. My primary area of study is conjuring and parazoology as concerns spirits. While I am not at all inclined to offer up my Ki to gain knowledge and power quickly I might like to contact you later, either by summoning or visiting your realm through astral journey to study and learn in the more natural way. Would you be open to such visits and knowledge exchange? Also, while I do not think it wise for beings such as ourselves to part with our Ki, others may have needs they consider worth the trade. I could act as an intermediary, so that you know that such a summons coming from me won't be a trap such as the one you have just escaped."

To Sam "Yes, it does seem like we have enough ghouls laying around that we could arrange to do it for real...but eaten by ghouls isn't much of a *fake* death. On the bright side I have recently been uncomfortably close to more than I care to contemplate, so when I make the illusion it will be pretty good. Unlike my trick earlier this one will need to stand up to more than a momentary viewing."

"Well, we'll also be filming it. So, we can fix stuff in post this time."

Yeah, but limit that so it does not look doctored.

Sato emerges from the limousine trailing a cloud of smoke.  

He stands at the curb and looks up at the building for a few moments, considering it closely.  Finally, he nods and flicks his cigarette into the gutter at the side of the street.

"I know someone who lives in the tunnels below Mingmei ((Tomi Gomi as a contact)) - perhaps she could show us a good location to serve as our set - maybe a "hideout" where we flush her out and lead a merry chase through the tunnels.  We could get some footage of the ghouls and her separately and then edit it together to show the escape...."

"We can flush out the details later.  I promised the ghouls that once we sorted the business upstairs that we would see about getting them a meal for tonight and a lead on a sustainable food supply.  Sun arranged it with Carl, so we need to get over there, get them fed, and see about what to do with them after that."

"So are we getting the ones downstairs to Carl first or making that movie?"

((Does my spirit knife react to being close by the demon?  Also, I have the Spirit Enmity (Spirits of Man) negative quality if that affects things ))

"If your friends are a danger to the neighborhood, we can make the time to ensure everything is safe..."

Sato lights another cigarette and takes a long puff.  He strolls nonchalantly away and starts surveying the sky to check for surveillance drones.  

"...We do have some urgency to resolve our issue, but I recommend we discuss it somewhere more private..."

"The second and third floor are secure as is the roof and elevator. There is no power as of yet, except the third floor has limited power to the main room only. The first floor is clear and will be secure once we transport our friends elsewhere. There are 5 spiders the size of a large dog secure on the second floor. And some woman spider hybrid that has escaped. I am assuming she let the other spiders out before and may return to do the same, we should set up some sort of surveillance just in case as well as make sure we secure the building when we leave again."

"Seems like a goid idea!"

Chougou suggests leaving some drones to patrol the building.

"How many of us will it take to move our friends downstairs? I don't relish the idea of keeping them here, but moving them might be problematic in itself."

Chougou wobbles around as he talks trying to get used to his new body ((which by the by no one that just came in has seemed to notice that he's no longer a Quasimodo ))

"If there's going to be...uh, dinner...provided for the ghouls, maybe we should bring it here and we can record the feeding to use for the other purpose? I'm hoping that it will be already deceased of course."

With everyone outside, Torpor locks up the third floor, then moves down to the second floor, checking on the room with the sleeping spiders to make sure they are secure before locking up the second floor as well.

As Sato approaches, his knife has no particular reaction, but he does get a deep feeling of kind of protective jealousy, for lack of a better word. He feels as though his inugami will not be happy with him if he tries to make a deal with the demon. Taishoko seems to eye Sato with a vague level of distrust, but doesn't say anything on the matter.

Taishoko says to Wujen, "I am not summoned lightly and one who does not have the will to make a deal with me is unlikely to have the will to summon me. However, desperation can change the minds of the most stubborn of men, so I will provide you with the ritual required to summon me should you change your mind."

She holds her hand out, palm upwards, and a scroll made of what might possibly be human skin bound in a ribbon of dried entrails appears in her hand. She offers it to Wujen and says, "Follow the instructions on this scroll and I will appear. If you have the means and will to go to Jigoku, the scroll will also serve as a map to my current location. Keep this safe and remember that my memory is long and life, eternal. Should you betray me there will be no plane upon which you can hide that I will not find you. Until then, farewell."

With a snap of her fingers, Taishoko vanishes, leaving behind a collapsing cloud of sulfuric smoke that quickly dissipates.

"She can be intense" WuJen mutters as he pockets the scroll.

To the others he says, "I was thinking we just load them in the van and head to where ever Carl says is the place to go. I'm not super enthused but I can sit with them, others that want to come along can possibly hitch a ride with Sato in the Limo."

"I'd like to conclude dealing with them before we start making videos. Push comes to shove I can make an illusion of her dead body, take a few still images, and just tell them we tossed it in a ghoul infested dump somewhere if they ask. It's not as if they will be investigating the incident too carefully. As I recall that contract was to find her and get her to stop with the vandalism, methods to be left to our own choosing and no option too violent."

"But these guys in here are none too human, and I don't get the feeling they were overburdened with kindness and compassion before they contracted their disease. It has certainly not improved their outlook. They are hungry and both willing and capable of killing innocents to eat, the more helpless and easy to hunt, the better. I'm hoping they can be men and not have to be put down, and to do that we need to get them fed and see what can be done to secure them a food supply."

"Back the van up to the doors, we can load them in and head over to Carl's once I lock back up."
