Post mission 2 wrapups

Sam can tell from a cursory examination of the hotel's matrix security that hacking into the system will not be an easy job. Since the hotel caters to rich VIPs who value their privacy, the hotel's systems are extremely secure (not top of the line, AAA megacorp level, but still enough to give him pause). Given how seriously they seem to take their security, it is a reasonable assumption that if he sets off the system while in there, it will probably result in an increase in security on site. Up to you guys if the intel is worth the risk given the very specific time window you have to work with.

I'm sure that Sato impressed upon Sam the importance to him, Sato, of this information. I'm sure it was a very persuasive presentation, and that Sato made Sam feel indispensable in the pursuit of the info that Sato needs.
Sam wants to help, and is willing to attempt this hack for Sato. But he'll leave it up to Sato to judge whether it's worth the risk.

Just check the paparazzi scream sheets for now.  Any famous people staying there that are dogged by photographers?  Any important buisiness conferences or M&A rumors in the corporate blogs?

There are many celebrities in town, but no mention of that hotel attached with them. There are no big business deals or events in the news (unless you count a typhoon on the 29th), and hacking into the e-mail systems of every business in town without direction to see if they are planning some sort of acquisition is impractical. Checking in with the hotel appears to be the only way to get info on the guest, and even that is not a guarantee.

"I am no hacker, but I have heard such things are easier if you are on the inside. Perhaps renting a room would allow for a better opportunity? You could also try asking, bribeing, or impersonating the front desk clerk.

But yeah, lets keep the IC stuff to the IC section

Yes, thats’s step 2. I always like the face to have as much low risk info as possible before going in.

((So, should I start a new thread in the Party Splits section for my scouting?  Sato will go it alone until he determines a bit more about the mission.  His plan is to walk right in the front door and act like he belongs (given his Luxury lifestyle, he probably has the clothes to look the part).  He will wear a very expensive but conservative suit and pretend to be scouting the location for a corporate function.  If pressed, he will rent a room for the night to ensure access to all the amenities.))

I'll start giving out the next set of missions sometime tomorrow. It won't be a party split. It'll be it's own mission.

Since Chougou is no longer in need of his robot assistants, he will disassemble them to make the starting of an exoskeleton. Depending on the costs for that there will be a few upgrades for the Bulldog's stealth and strength.

Missions are up. Looks like my internet is back too. Finished with my finals and almost done with my paper. I should be on track now.
