One by one you gather up the spiders and put them into cages. They remain unconscious the entire time.

Torpor finishes up locking the spiders (making sure they are locked) then heads to the third floor, he unlocks the chain then draws his silenced black pistol before unlocking the door lock, "Are we ready?" He says.

Chougou sends the Rotodrone up with the group along with some flyspys that go ahead of them trying to see anything out of the ordinary. The Lynx stays by the van keeping an eye on the door and checking the surroundings every once in a while. The duelist waits outside the ghouls room still.

If everyone is ready, no other ideas, I will open the door. Gun at the ready crouching just in case using the doorframe as cover.

Ichigo is at the ready. "Well let's do this!"

Torpor pushes open the door and Chougou's drones swarm in. Before entering, Torpor notices a faint scent of mustard that gives him pause. The drones, being small and unable to smell, head in past Torpor but the others bump up behind him instead of heading in.

The drones can see, like the other floors, the elevator is first thing on the left. The hallway ahead hooks around to the left and eventually another door. There is also another door immediately to the right of the entrance. One thing that you notice that is different about this particular door is that the maglock is both engaged and energized. It seems that this door is operating on its own power source independent of the grid. A sign on the door reads, "Danger! Authorized personnel only!"

Torpor enters cautiously, checking up as well, before approaching the door and examining the mag lock (is there any markings or designs on the lock at all). How strong is the same of mustard, v does it get stronger close to the door?

"you want me to check it out astrally? That's proven to be exceptionally dangerous in here, but I can try to take a peek "

"Do you feel comfortable doing it? You could send cinder perhaps."

Ichigo will also enter and look around to see if there is anything that catches my eye.

Cinder is Fire. He can surely illuminate, but as we found earlier, he's also dangerous. Not that he was wrong about burning this place to the ground to be sure of dealing with those spiders."

"On the bright side, he's here to help if something else tries to eat me today "

WuJen settles on the floor again, and leaves his body. He carefully scans the area with as the Astral Perception before doing the same in the closed rooms.

Torpor and Ichigo enter the room and their eyes almost immediately begin to water and their noses start to run as something in the air irritates them. Vision quickly blurs and weakness in their limbs quickly follows. Ichigo, having some military-based medical training, quickly realizes the signs of some type of poisonous gas, though he is not sure what it is by exposure alone. It was clearly released on this floor some time ago or both Torpor and Ichigo would be dead. Even in this diluted form, the gas could still kill them if they stick around in here without protection...

Meanwhile Wujen's astral form is unaffected by the gas and slips into the third floor. There is nothing really to see on the astral plane until he attempts to enter the first room on the right which appears to be protected by a powerful mana barrier that blocks his attempts to see inside. It seems that whoever worked in this building previously went to a lot of trouble to keep people out of this particular room. In the other room on the far side is what appears to be a small locker room. There is a single dead body on the ground near the lockers. The person looks like he was in the middle of changing when the floor was flooded with poisonous gas. A single locker, which presumably belongs to the victim, is currently open.

WuJen manifests next to Torpor and Ichigo, relaying what he's found.

"I have not gone to the trouble yet of breaking that barrier, I figured it would likely be best to check it out physically as well, to avoid another situation like the spiders. I'd suggest investigating the lockers first. Whatever is behind that barrier can wait a bit. The lockers might contain valuable information or gear useful in handling this situation.

"I don't have a respirator, does anyone else have one? Maybe let this floor air out a little bit, will help." As he goes back outside.

From outside the door, Sun yells: "Chou has some rotodrones. Maybe they can cause some air circulation to clear the fumes out?"

Without power I doubt there is much we can do but maybe open a window. I don't know who set this up, but their disregard for the safety of the area is appalling.

Ichigo will back out "wow thats some nasty stuff there! We got really lucky this would have killed us if it hadnt been so diluted! I have a gas mask so that will give me an hr of air and i have a refill just in case. Does any one else have something to help breath?"

Little Dragon and Cinder are Immune (ooc:Right? Little Dragon is realistic,so maybe?), as will I be so long as I don't physically enter. All I can do is observe though, unless there is something astral or dual natured to interact with"

Torpor pulls up a matrix search on his commlink for the closest place to get a gas mask, rebreather, or mask with filter built in, from where we are now.

((@Wujen - You aren't sure if a materialized spirit will be affected by the gas. Since you weren't affected while in astral form, you can assume they wouldn't be affected while in astral either. You've no idea what will happen to one when manifested, particularly since you don't know what this gas is, other than toxic.))

Torpor finds an airsoft store down the street that has legal military gear. While the stuff there is primarily meant for military cosplay during airsoft games, there are a handful of real pieces of military/police hardware/uniforms that are there for "coolness" factor. A couple of gas masks appear to be among them. A steal at only 250 nuyen!
