Vote for your base! (design)

3) Design?
So far I have heard 2 opinions on design. Torpor's got a place sketched out that you can go with. Sato seems to like the idea of a fire house. Lets get a vote on those two.

I voted for Torpors sketch since he put in the effort to actually do that.


For my input, I'll reiterate what I said on the other post.

We need the following features:
--a bedroom for me and Little Dragon, I intend for this to be my actual home.
--1 or 2 guest rooms, intended for occasions when it's not wise to split up.
-- A private space for the rituals and such, doubling as a formal meeting place for business.
-- An indoor public space, suitable for Mr. Johnson's bodyguards to cool their heels and limited contact with the public.  We are a community center after all.
--A suitable area, probably outdoors, for training classes and such, roughly the size of a basketball court.

I'm gonna withhold on voting here, cause either are fine. In the end, it's as cool as you make it yourself. Clearing out a haunted firehouse, though... Oh yes, please

Sorry guys i had edit this! I'm not planning to make this my permanent home but I would like to have a spot to stay if the need arises, possibly a private room in the back of the clinic. Maybe a small pool, a gym to keep in shape, at least a two car garage, a panic room just in case, I also like torpor's sketch if it's possible to add to this would be nice but necessary if we can find or afford it.

Guys, do remember that this is the size of a 2, maybe 3 bedroom house, *and* functions as a community center which means much of the space is empty with some folding chairs and maybe a large driveway.

The one I drew. I can also redo or modify it as needed.

Currently there is the following in the floor plan

1st floor
Dojo/training room (big 20x20)
2 changing/bath rooms
Office
Garage (1 bay)

2nd floor
Meeting room
Clinic (1 bed)
Clinic office
Apartment with sofa/kitchen area
3 bedrooms (1 larger)

Basement
Smithy/electronics? shop
Magical lodge (large 15x20)

And I can modify as needed
Maybe make it 1 floor only? I figured with multiple floors it added some diversity

I think we can redraw it a bit to fit the firehouse theme: 

One big high-ceiling room downstairs with small bathroom and office.  This is flex space between garage, dojo and community meeting center - we can change it up depending on what is needed.

Upstairs has runnerspace with areas for sleeping, repairing gear, plotting and gear lockup.  Maybe the area by the stairs has a small clinic and the small shops.  Obviously there's a fire pole.

Lodge might want to encompass the upstairs sleeping area as sleeping inside a lodge is good for those afraid of malevolent spirits.

I can do that.

With space doubling I can maybe do more with the clinic. Thinking second floor clinic, meeting room, shop/smith
Third floor housing/lodge
