    I allow it situationally. 4 dice = 1 hit. If you are in combat or otherwise distracted, you can't. In most non-combat situations, you can.

    When I say non-combat I don't necessarily mean you have to be fighting someone. I sometimes treat certain time sensitive situations as "combat" even if no actual fighting is happening. You can tell the difference between the two because I will usually ask you to roll initiative and announce that we are in combat time.

    lol. well at least your reaction went up by one and you seem to be doing pretty well with spell drain.

    FYI, if you don't mention the force of the spell, I am going to assume whatever your magic score is. This spell has drain equal to force which is quite a lot to resist, so you may want to cast it at a lower force.

    I don't know if you have looked at reagents at all, but when casting, you can use those to increase your spell limit without increasing the spell's force. So, for example, if you were to use it on this spell and cast at force 2 with 4 drams of reagent, the drain of the spell would be 2, since you cast it at force 2, but you could get the benefit of up to 6 hits on the spell. They are useful to have. You can forage for them with the Alchemy skill as well, potentially getting them for free if you are in an area appropriate for it.

    OK so if i wanted to shoot multiple targets i do the following
    Split my dice between the targets
    Fire semi auto burst (which is just fast trigger pulling)
    Split bullets between targets

    Otherwise i could sa burst same target for more chances to hit?

    yep, you use 3 bullets to reduce their defense pool by 2, or you use the multiple attacks free action. You can do that free action any time you are firing multiple rounds or if you have more than one weapon available to you (for example a handgun in each hand). Using it means you split your dice evenly between attack attempts (or as evenly as you can if it doesn't divide perfectly), giving you more attacks but also more chances of glitching. You can split your attacks a number of times equal to your skill rating in whatever weapon you are using.

    If you choose you use edge to up your chances of success, you do it to the entire pool and split the dice evenly among the attacks.

    I have reagents, I just always forget about them because they didn't exist in this form till 5th.

    Hardly matters if I'm gonna glitch every fragging roll though.

    True enough. You can try rolz or some other third party site if you don't like this RNG. That's what Kingfisher's been doing. I don't particularly care what you use. This one is just convenient.

    Well, the levitate wasn't the greatest roll, but it was a pretty average one. Above average if 3's and 4's had any useful meaning.

    It's enough is what counts Smile Though note, you are still sustaining the improved reflexes unless you decided to drop it, so your dice pools go down by 2 (per spell you are sustaining). The cast is still successful (albeit technically less so) but something to keep in mind.

    Yeah, I forgot to take off dice for the Improved reflexes, but would not have kept it up for the sad little +1 it was giving.

    There's also a Suppressing Fire option on page 179 of the core book.
    You end up rolling Firearms+Agility[accuracy] and the target either drops prone or rolls REA+Edge to avoid catching lead.
    It's surprisingly effective against multiple enemies like drone swarms...or cyberweasels.

    They Injured Torpor, then healed him 1 point so we can't fix him up.

    Of course, with the way I've been rolling it's probably for the best.
