3B - One flew over the cuckoo hut

Taking out his special staff, Sun goes to the door Sam opened, smacking it on either side to leave a mark.

The door appears scuffed from Sun's strike, but the hut suddenly rumbles violently and the front door abruptly slams shut. Apparently it didn't like that. Luckily (or not, depending on how you view the situation), everyone managed to get inside prior to that happening.

As Sam opens the door, he finds a large closet (larger than the room you are currently in) that is filled with brooms. Perhaps hundreds of them of varying size and shape line the walls on racks as if some army of maids were preparing for some dirty warfare. The only apparent exit is the entrance.

Leaving this closet door open, Sam opens the middle door.

"It likely does not apply here, but the classic strategy to deal with a maze is to always take the same turn. For instance, go left at every opportunity. I don't know how to deal with a maze that isn't fixed though "

Though Sam leaves the door open, it automatically closes on its own if no one is holding it open. The middle door opens to a kitchen, though it is not one you would likely want to eat from. Pots and cauldrons bubble on fires next to tables filled with ingredients one would rather not think about. A battered goblin stands near one of the tables, upon which are three glass containers of varying sizes. One of the three containers is filled with a thick red fluid at which the battered goblin in a chef's hat is staring at and sobbing.

The kitchen has at least 2 doors other than the one you are currently standing at.

"Are you Grant or Krista?" Sam asks the goblin.

The goblin gives a deep, mucus-filled sniffle and wipes his red eyes with a start as Sam addresses him. "No," he says, "I'm Snot. Snot the chef. Soon to be Snot the main course."

"We are looking for Grant and Krista," Sam says. "Have you seen them?

Snot sobs and says, "What does it matter?! Snot will be eaten. They will be eaten. WE ALL WILL BE EATEN!!! This is impossible!"

"We are looking for Grant and Krista to save them. Have you seen them?"

The goblin breaks down into inconsolable sobbing, blubbering something incoherent.

Sam wanders into the room and looks around. He goes and checks out the container of red fluid.

He also pulls up an app on his deck to track his progress through this chicken. Even if it's just grid paper that he'll approximate room sizes.

The fluid gives off a metallic scent, much like blood. If this is blood, it is likely a lethal amount of it.

Mapping out the room, Sam estimates it to be roughly a 20'x20' square.

Deciding that this goblin isn't going to be helpful, Sam RNGs the next choice of door to open (1-3=left 4-6=right).
"Hold that door," he says to the others before opening this next door.

Taking pity with the poor goblin, Sun walks up to him. "Hey there, chummer. What's the matter?"

The goblin looks up at Sun and wipes his eyes a bit before speaking. "Snot is a good cook, but Baba Yaga is a mean master! Baba Yaga said Baba Yaga needs 4 quarts of baby juice but Baba Yaga took Snot's measuring cup away! Baba Yaga just gave Snot these three buckets with 8 quarts of baby juice. Other two buckets are 5 and 3 quarts. Baba Yaga said use these buckets to measure exactly 4 quarts. If Snot is off by a drop, Baba Yaga will have Snot for dinner! What's worse, Baba Yaga said Snot can only pour seven times or Baba Yaga will have Snot for dinner! Snot is scared to mess up! Can you help Snot?"

Can I tell if it's 4 quarts with my cyber enhancements?

Sam pauses with his hand about to turn the knob of the door.
"Pour 8 to 5. 5 to 3. 3 to 8. 5 to 3. 8 to 5. 5 to 3. Then you will have four quarts in the five quart bucket."

The goblin carefully follows Sam's directions and eventually ends up with one of the buckets full of 4 quarts of "baby juice". Satisfied, he places the containers in something that looks like a refrigerator for later use. Then he says, "Thanks! Snot hopes that's right! Baba Yaga's always getting people to do weird things like this. You were asking about a Grant and Krista? Snot doesn't know their names, but a couple of humans were captured recently. They should probably be in the holding room. Snot would show you were that is but Snot never leaves the kitchen. Snot is not allowed to, so Snot does not know the way.

"But since you helped Snot, Snot will tell you something Snot heard from the others in here. If you ever get to the hall of heads, look under the beholder head. Baba Yaga hid something there, but Snot doesn't know what it is. Don't touch any of the other jars though. And DEFINITELY don't break any. That would make Baba Yaga VERY angry."

Sam opens a text doc and makes a note of the goblin's advice.
"Someone hold that door open," he says and waits for someone to hold it open before opening the right hand door in here that he had been poised to open before Snot asked for puzzle help.

Sun then moves over to hold the door open, as per Sam's request.

With Sun holding open the door, it remains open as Sam opens another one. This door leads to a large 30' diameter circular room. The center of this room is dominated by what appears to be a moderate sized swimming pool, though judging by the soaps and sponges surrounding it, one might guess it was a bath tub. A goblin in a maid's outfit is scrubbing the bath with a brush on a long pole. There does not appear to be any other doors to this room.
