3A - To Heir is Human

Chougou will send the crawler in to investigate, followed by the rotodrone if the crawler can't see anything.

The crawler skitters into the door from the genkan and begins exploring the penthouse. ((Tell me where you'd like to go and give me a perception+intuition [sensors] check.))

((would I need to do any thing special if I wanted to watch through it's wireless connection, considering it's a friendly drive?))

Chougou would like to choose the door directly across from the entrance

The drones head across the hallway into the opposite door. The room appears to be a small entertaining room with a mini bar, trid, couches, etc.

The trid is currently on, tuned into the news. There is a reporter talking about the storm, which is apparently a category 3. Not the worst storm in the world, but enough that you don't want to be out in it. The shutters rattle with the howling wind outside.

No one appears to be currently in this room.

Are there any other places for them to look in the room? Like behind the couch?

A thorough search of the room turns up no one. You all do hear the sound of a shower being turned on in a room down the hall.

Torpor moves quickly to the door that leads to the sound of the shower covering any other doors on his way. He waits ready to strike, if needed.

Chougou's drones will follow Torpor and Chougou will DNI the group asking if they should make a coordinated move and if any of this is familiar to Sato.

He also mentions that he is outside on the stoop, and if someone could come drag him in if this takes much longer...

Torpor, Sato and Chougou's drones quickly make their way to a bedroom in the southwest corner of the building while Chougou waits in the genkan, operating his drones. The pair move to the closed door of the bathroom, their footsteps masked by the sounds of the pouring water on the other side of the door. The bathroom door appears to be locked.

((if the door is a magical vs a mechanical one I try my techno skill on it. If it's mechanical , and Sato cannot to put I guess it's kick it in and fire.))

Torpor gives the door a kick and it cracks, but doesn't budge. Sato gives it a try and busts down the door. The pair move in quickly with Torpor firing a round at the shower curtain and presumably the person behind it. The capsule splats against the plastic, though with enough penetration to make a small hole in it. There is no sound or reaction from the shower so Sato pulls aside the curtain to reveal it is completely empty...

Torpor swings back outside the bathroom, pistol at the ready looking for the Target, he crouches low to make a smaller Target as he looks around. He switched to thermal vision and looks for possible heat signatures.

Sato also goes on the defensive, but a quick search of the room reveals it to be empty. The door is closed however, and neither of you remember closing it. Sato gives the handle a turn and finds it locked. Odd... considering that it locks from the INSIDE. There are sounds of struggle coming from somewhere on the other side, where Chougou stayed behind to pilot his drones...

Chougou brings the drones back to him as quick as possible and screams over DNI that there's a giant dog with a sword and then trails off as he focuses on defending himself.
