Sam's date!

Sam checks the datachips and finds they have the programs he requested. It is a simple matter to wire the money to her account.

Peeking into the bathroom, Akina has her back to the door and does not appear to notice Sam. The game in the tub does not have a datajack interface though, instead relying on one of two old school game controllers. This is likely to avoid accidental drowning in the bath as being complete unaware of one's body while soaking in a tub is not the safest of things to do.

The water has no bubbles, but is colored a light milky white. That and the discarded packet next to the tub suggest that she's put some kind of bath salts into the steaming water.

Sam watches her in the tub from the doorway for a little while. He feels aroused, but he doesn't know what to do with that feeling.

Eventually, still confused, he sneaks off to play some more awesome video games in this room while he can.

Akina doesn't seem to notice that Sam has come and gone and continues playing her game which appears to be some kind of Tetris clone. Her focus on the little shapes is akin to a sort of zen meditation.

Out in the main room, there is a home console system with a few hundred games, most of which Sam has at home. The arcade games are the more unusual thing as they are both too expensive and too large to keep in one's house. Especially Sam's little apartment. In addition to the fighting game and the giant robot game, there is a rhythmic dancing game, a guitar game, a popular taiko drum game, a pachinko machine and a VR hentai simulator. The hentai simulator is a bit of a rare find since it's too big and expensive for home use and generally inappropriate for public arcade use.

None of the other arcade games interest Sam overly much. He plugs back into the giant robot game.

Sam is comfortable playing the giant robot game, slicing up hordes of enemies with his giant laser sword. Time passes quickly and he eventually gets a message from Akina saying:

Sam jacks out.

Akina is wearing a towel and drying her hair with a hair dryer when Sam returns to the real world. She switches it off and places it on its designated wall rack. "Thanks for coming, for what it's worth," she says as she wheels over to the bed where her clothes currently are then starts pulling them on over her towel, working the towel down as that portion of her body is decent.

Sam stands there, watching her change, grinning.

"Thank you for inviting me," he says. "I had a very good time. Except for the times when I didn't."

Akina gives a faint smile and rolls over to the door. After paying, it unlocks and you are both allowed to leave.

Sam leaves.

Akina calls her car from the noodle shop to take her home. It arrives in minutes and is custom made for her. She slides into the driver seat and a hook comes down from the roof to pick up her wheelchair and pull it up into a compartment up there. "See you around Sam!" she says and drives off.

Sam scoots home.

At some point in the next day or two, Sam goes to radio shack and picks up supplies to build himself a parabolic microphone ring. He also picks up a sensor housing and some sensors while he's there.
He gets home and gets to work.

It takes Sam two hours.

A few days later, Sam has his last training session with Akina. He gets home, and all of a sudden he feels two points better at cyber-combat!

He sends a message to Akina:

Akina responds:

Sam transfers the money.

The person controlling Sam doesn't really know where to begin to deal with this, so neither does Sam. He'll start with matrix perception, as that seems as good a place as any.
