Torpor (Yennu Takashi) Gunslinger

Yennu was born to wage slaves on the outskirts of the city barely making ends meet. He was young when the magic started to awaken within him, learning how to do different things that surprised him. When he fully awakened he found he was different, and looked to join others like him. He Eventually found and joined a local magical group of Tsukumogami worshippers.

He found his powers develop slightly different than everyone else, he wasn't an adept and most of the others in the group were Mages or Shaman. The group was called 'Techintos' , they dealt with fixing and repairing things as well as following Tsukumogami. He learn to fix and repair weapons and soon excelled at it, finding that he really enjoyed his calling. His particular favorite weapon were pistols and he learned to shoot and fight with them among some of the other people in the group.

Being a runaway at an early age he found that being sinless had some perks that shadow Runners were looking for. He started doing small easy runs here and there to make ends meet. He met a few friends on the way, that he uses when he needs to get stuff done. One of them being Ryko the Fist, an arms dealer that deals in some hard to get items.  Another being Maicolm Stone a local fixer.

Yennu did a small stint, trying to be a positive reflection on society, doing work for hackwagon. He picked up some good experience along the way, however being sinless and having issues with corporate way of life, it lasted only so long. He cut all ties with them after a really bad falling out, and had not looked back since.

Needing to pay the rent and get things done, he is now looking to expand his Horizons and find more work running the Shadows...

He is a young male, average height and build, with buzzed black hair and brown eyes. He dresses in an old style suit of dark gray made for warm weather. He moves very slowly and deliberately when walking almost as if waiting to spring into motion when needed. His clothes are old but well kept and his eyes hide the darkness Within.

Judging by some of the weird typos in there, I am gonna guess you probably typed this on a smart phone, possibly with voice recognition.

Anyway, here are some goodies for your character:

- You have a small toolbox. You are not sure where it came from as you just woke up next to it one morning. You are unable to open it and keep finding it wherever you wake up, though when you shake it, it otherwise seems like a perfectly normal toolbox. The other Techintos have taken a look at it and it seems to be both magical and alive, though they have no idea what it is. You do know that when you do repairs while it is around, things seem to get fixed quicker, though you are unsure if that is a direct result of the toolbox or simply your imagination. After waking up with it next to you multiple times, you have just sort of gotten in the habit of bringing it around with you.

Notes so far on my toolbox

Yes. The bullet was a lot easier to make than you expected. In fact you thought you might have flubbed it, but for some reason it worked out.

The toolbox doesn't seem to do anything that you can tell. Just lucky coincidences keep happening while you work. You aren't sure if it's your imagination or what. Tools and materials just seem to be where you need them, when you need them, even if you don't remember putting them there.

Wujen's attempt at assensing the toolbox leads him to believe that the toolbox is an awakened living creature. Beyond that he has no idea what the heck it is. It clearly doesn't open like a normal toolbox, though picking it up and shaking it certainly sounds like one.

As for the toolbox, despite otherwise physically appearing to be a normal toolbox, the astral plane reveals it to be a dual-natured, awakened living creature. Since it is a creature and not an item, it does not appear to be something you can really use. The creature is incredibly shy though. It does not move when observed, but always seems to seek Torpor or food when it is not being watched. It appears to feed on small bits of metal such as bolts, screws, nuts and the like as they do tend to disappear when unobserved (though Wujen can never be absolutely certain as he is never able to see it do so). As far as Wujen can tell, the creature requires someone who is good at training animals (or preferably paracritters) to get it to be comfortable around people.
