Kin Tanaka barely remembered his parents, Nori and Yumi. His early years were spent in the Church of Happy Science, where they were members. That was, until he was five or six and was told by the church that both parents had been killed. From that point forward he was raised solely by the church. Raised to be a weapon. He was taught to use every gun he could hold; but pistols mostly. They had a plan for him, a plan to join the military faction of the church. Days consisted of training and worship. Nights consisted of dinner, a small amount of playtime and then bed.
That all changed when he found out his parents hadn’t died, but instead were shunned by the church and kicked out. He was maybe thirteen at the time. He never knew his true age, still didn’t. But he knew what had to come next. He left the church in the dead of night and survived on the streets, doing whatever it took. He would beg or steal to stay alive.
Now in his early twenties, Kin is tall (6’1”) and lean, with jet black hair and eyes to match. He is known as "Deadeye", a nickname given him by the church. He longs to search for his parents, if they’re still alive, and also save the few friends he remembers from the church, even if it means kidnapping them. He wants to make something of his life, digging out of the hole that he was born in. Be successful, but mostly well off. He enjoys gambling, thinking that might be a quick way to make some money. He remembers every face who cheated him at gambling, vowing revenge on them.
He really wants to have enough in his pocket that he doesn't have to scrounge and dreams of being wealthy and the life it would provide him.
